Jerusalem Pilgrimage Guidelines

the National Christian Board (NCB) is sponsoring or facilitating a Holy Land Tour to Jerusalem, the following terms and conditions should be outlined to ensure a smooth and well-organized pilgrimage.

    1. Eligibility Criteria
  • The applicant must be a practicing Christian and actively involved in church/ministry activities.
  • Must be at least 18 years old (unless accompanied by a guardian).
  • Should be physically and mentally fit to undertake international travel.
  • Must possess a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity from the date of travel.
  • Preference may be given to pastors, missionaries, church leaders, and senior citizens
  • 2. Financial Terms & Sponsorship
  • The NCB may partially or fully sponsor the trip based on the applicant’s eligibility and financial need.
  • Pilgrims may be required to contribute a nominal registration fee or bear some expenses (such as visa fees, personal expenses, etc.).
  • Any financial aid provided by NCB is non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • If a pilgrim cancels after confirmation, they may be required to reimburse costs incurred by NCB.
  • 3. Travel & Accommodation
  • The travel itinerary, flight details, and accommodation arrangements will be finalized by NCB.
  • Pilgrims must adhere to the group’s schedule and cooperate with the tour coordinators.
  • Any personal extensions of the trip will be at the pilgrim’s own expense.
  • Accommodation will be arranged in shared rooms unless otherwise specified.
  • 4. Code of Conduct
  • Pilgrims are expected to maintain discipline, respect local customs, and uphold Christian values throughout the journey.
  • Alcohol consumption, smoking, or any indecent behavior during the pilgrimage is strictly prohibited.
  • Any violation of rules may lead to expulsion from the tour at the pilgrim’s own cost.
  • 5. Visa & Legal Requirements
  • The applicant must comply with Israeli visa requirements and submit all necessary documents on time.
  • NCB will assist with the visa application, but approval is subject to embassy regulations.
  • Any legal or immigration issues arising during the travel will be the responsibility of the traveler.
  • 6. Health & Insurance
  • Pilgrims should disclose any medical conditions and carry necessary medications.
  • Travel insurance (covering health emergencies) is strongly recommended.
  • NCB is not liable for any medical expenses during the trip.
  • 7. Agreement & Declaration
  • The applicant must sign a declaration form agreeing to all terms before confirmation.
  • NCB reserves the right to accept or reject applications based on the selection criteria.
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances (war, natural disasters, government restrictions), the trip may be rescheduled or canceled without prior notice.
