the National Christian Board (NCB) is facilitating Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships provided by the Government of India, the following terms and conditions should be outlined to ensure transparency and smooth processing:
1. Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a Christian student belonging to an economically weaker section (as per government norms).
- Pre-Matric Scholarship: Applicable for students studying from Class 1 to Class 10.
- Post-Matric Scholarship: Applicable for students studying in Class 11, Class 12, undergraduate, postgraduate, or diploma courses.
- The student must be enrolled in a recognized school/college/university in India.
- The family’s annual income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakhs (as per Government of India guidelines).
- The applicant must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous academic year.
2. Application Process
- Eligible students must submit an application form along with required documents within the specified deadline.
- Applications must be submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or as per the Government of India’s official procedure.
- Incomplete or misleading applications will be rejected without prior notice.
- Selection will be based on merit and financial need as per government regulations.
3. Required Documents
Students must provide the following documents:

4. Scholarship Disbursement
- The scholarship amount will be directly credited to the student’s bank account by the Government of India.
- The NCB will only act as a facilitator in guiding students through the application process.
- The scholarship can be used only for tuition fees, books, study materials, and educational expenses.
- If any fraudulent activity is detected (fake documents, misrepresentation), the scholarship will be canceled immediately, and legal action may be taken.
